Important Update to 2021 LeadingAge GA/SC Conference

Announcement on August 27, 2021:  A Message from LeadingAge Georgia and LeadingAge South Carolina

The LeadingAge Georgia/South Carolina Annual Conference and Trade Show is coming up on September 20-22, and after reviewing safety protocols of LeadingAge National and other state conferences, we’ve developed protocols to help keep you and ultimately those you serve safe.

MASKS:  All participants will be required to wear a face mask (no gaiters/bandanas) at all times while inside except when actively eating or drinking. We will have disposable masks available on-site as well as hand sanitizer.

Vaccination: All participants – attendees, presenters, exhibitors and sponsors - will be required to present proof of full vaccination at registration. Your original card, a photo copy or digital picture are acceptable.

We are allowing for exemptions for religious and medical reasons. Your request for an exemption must be in writing to Vickie Moody at vmoody@LeadingAgeSC.org if you are in South Carolina or to Ginny Helms at ghelms@LeadingAgeGa.org if you are in Georgia.  COVID test results dated no more than 48 hours before the conference must be presented at registration by anyone requesting the exemption.

Education Sessions and Trade Show: There will be limited seating with adequate space in each education session; rooms will be sanitized between each education session; and, we will have staggered entry into the exhibit hall to limit capacity at any one time.

We have some outstanding presentations planned that are sure to educate and inspire us and help us all move FORWARD.

If you have not yet registered, please contact Beth Bouknight if you are a LeadingAge South Carolina member at bbouknight@leadingagesc.org; and click here if you are a LeadingAge Georgia member:  https://www.leadingagega.org/upcoming-events#id=544&cid=247&wid=301

If you are unvaccinated and unable to attend, we encourage you to give your registration to another colleague within your organization. If you prefer, you can contribute your registration fee to support the conference. If however, you cannot attend due to being unvaccinated or health concerns, please contact Beth Bouknight at bboutknight@LeadingAgeSC.org if you are in South Carolina and Susan Watkins at swatkins@LeadingAgeGa.org. if you are in Georgia and we will provide refunds up until September 6th.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us! We look forward to seeing you in Hilton Head.
