Wellness Assistant

The primary purpose of your job position is to assist the Wellness Director & Fitness Program Coordinator in implementing Wellness programming and operations.  The assistant gathers and manages assessment data and class and membership fees, instructs fitness classes including aquatics, and supervises individual fitness programs.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience as a personal trainer, or exercise instructor preferred. B.S. or M.S. in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, or related discipline preferred. Certification with ACSM, ACE, AFAA, SFA, or other nationally recognized certifying body preferred.  Must work toward an appropriate national certification if not yet certified and achieve certification within the first year of employment. Must possess current Adult CPR, AED, and First Aid certification.
